Ancestors of Avalon

by Marion Zimmer Bradley and Diana L. Paxson

Reviewed by Coral

The signs for Atlantis are not good. The earth trembles, the mountain spits fire and the priests and priestesses know their islands are about to be claimed by the sea. Their duty now is to save as many as they can and to save the knowledge of their order. But will they have enough time?

I didn't really enjoy this book.

I've read the books before this one, but I felt like I was missing part of the story. I don't think I missed a book though, so it was weird.

It kind of felt unbelievable that two colonies of survivors didn't meet up with each other a lot sooner than they did, both considering how close their were to each other and how easily they later learned of each other.

There was this one relationship that just kind of came out of nowhere - although I was skimming a lot by that time - and disappeared almost as quickly.font>

Overall it was a pretty boring but not offensive read.
