Three hundred years ago the city of Rhomatum was founded by a heretic named Darius Rhomandi and those who chose to follow him away from their home Mauritum.
Rhomatum is now a powerful empire, controlling the nodes and leylines that give them power. The three brothers and heirs to the Rhomandi line have many differences between them and do not always get along. But with a historic trade agreement about to be signed with Mauritum and an unknown enemy rising from the nodes, the brothers will have to overcome their differences to save their city.
Honestly, I couldn’t even make it through the first one hundred pages of this book. There was something about the author’s style of writing that just didn’t draw me into the story. The world building felt a little awkward in how it was handled and I’m not really sure I got the complete picture of how everything worked.
Still, it isn’t really fair to grade a book I barely read.
