The King

Despite all the problems I had with Rodrigo's character in the previous book, The Still - I wanted to go through the pages and knock some sense into him, or some arrogance out of him, whichever - Rustin's character and subplot kept The Still from being a completely horrid book.
Not so in The King, as Rustin is absent throughout most of the story, leaving only spoiled brat Rodrigo to save his country; they should have just killed him and installed his brother as king. Definitely skip this book.
